This intervention utilizes Acceptance & Commitment Therapy-based frameworks to support noticing thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and urges without avoidance while strengthening psychological flexibility and fostering commitment to personal values.
The following supports the ACT house-guest metaphor: our mind is our home, and guests (emotional visitors) represent our unwanted internal experiences, such as uncomfortable emotions, anxiety, self-doubt, traumatic memories, or difficult urges. This allows us to learn how to notice, accept, and allow our emotions to exist. We are creating a safe space for our internal experience.
Includes: Five space templates with sixteen emotional visitors.
